Quotecman8 Try to level it out with mallet if you have one. But be careful too. I saw someone here did it and it worked for them. Well I would try but I'm not sure I will be able to do it. I took a straight edge and put it across the print bed holding it down on the X tower side. Well you can see the gap it has on the Z tower side. If you split that gap in half thats what I end up with on both sby davidf01 - Delta Machines
QuoteJoeybane Seems like your delta radius is off. Have you done the flatness calibration? Before you do it, you should try to get your bed as level as possible, I used a right angle, and put washers under the mounts to get it as level as possible. - Check that the nozzle touches the bed at the same z-height at all three towers + center. If center is higher, you need to increase #Delta_smooth_rodby davidf01 - Delta Machines
Ok so I have been messing around with the print bed for a bit and have figured out that there is something funky with this aluminum plate. Here is a picture where you can see where the nozzle scrapes along the bed and no filament can get extruded and then it starts again once it clears the pinched area. I'm guessing there is no way to correct for this. I contacted Folger but dont have a lot of cby davidf01 - Delta Machines

Quotellamatrails Quotedavidf01 Ah I see what you are saying now. So the acrylic that I have my print bed attached to in this picture I should change to something different and more solid? I used longer screws to hold the hot bed to the acrylic, with a stack of O rings. Changed it to 3 points of attachment instead of 4, much easier to align. I have finally been able to get my printer to print some good quality objects. Most of them have only been 25 mm or less. I'm now trying to calibrate larger size objects. Quotetjnamtiw Quotedavidf01 So I took my extruder apart and checked to make sure everything looked like there was no damage. It looked good. So I turned on eeprom to try and do some calibration tests and my extruder tests but I think something is wrong. I can only move the hotend to the top or bottom. I cant stop it at say G1 z20. I lowered it to about 200 and it seems like it is not dripping like it was before. I think nothing is going to matter if the extruder does not work right. I'm still getting the motor jerking back and forth the whole time it should be extruding. Anyone know if this extruder can be broken? Or can the stepper drive be broken?by davidf01 - Delta Machines
Quotellamatrails Quotedavidf01 Yes that's what I did. I used Pronterface to extrude the 50mm and only got 40. The extruder was jerking forwards and backwards while it was trying to extrude. I heated the hotend up to 185 then did the extrude. That is how I figured out it was being jerking.
