Quoteimqqmi 0.5 walls with a 0.4 is normal, maybe you're confusing layer height of 0.5? That would be difficult to do. What I'm trying to ask is if I print a .5mm wall calibration object I should get a .5mm wall correct? I keep getting .42 walls.by davidf01 - Printing
QuoteKevinS There are two firmware versions on the google drive. Neither seems to properly run the printer. I got it to home up to the endstops on all three motors by editing configuration.h of the revB version. Any attempt to move anywhere and the Z motor goes crazy. Can someone point me to the right firmware and maybe even a manual to get this printer working? Thanks Kevins, I used the revisby davidf01 - Delta Machines
QuoteJBFUK In the preferences there is a setting - something about auto or snap to centre. Maybe try disabling that. Thanks JBFUK, That was the problem. I don't know how I didn't see that before.by davidf01 - Slic3r

I have a quick question. Using Slic3r I'm trying to print a .5mm thin wall calibration object. But the walls keep coming out .42mm. I have a .4mm nozzle and layer height of .2. My first layer height is .25 with a 200% first layer width setting and the default extrusion width of .4. Should the calibration objects walls be .5mm or is the default width over riding the 5mm wall object?by davidf01 - Printing

Does anyone know what this strange printing pattern on the right is and what causes it? I'm printing PLA, 65deg print bed temp for first layer, and 205 nozzle temp.by davidf01 - Slic3r
Sorry, I'm printing with PLA. The bed is level. I used a brim and it did help. I still get a little lift on one side. Could that side be getting cooled faster then the other side. Should I turn off the bed heat after the first layer?by davidf01 - Slic3r
So if you get one side of your prints lifting off the print bed as the print continues is the print bed not hot enough? I'm printing PLA and have the print bed at 65. I keep getting one side lifting off the print bed and I'm not sure how to go about adjusting it?by davidf01 - Delta Machines

QuoteKevinS Thanks for the information. I'm glad the reversed print doesn't matter on the sliders. That really sent up a red flag for me. Because the wheels are held at an angle, irregularities in the sidewall really bump hard when sliding. I'll check out the Folgertech thread. Ok I dont get any bumping, not sure what you are talking about with the bumping? that could be a problem do you have aby davidf01 - Delta Machines
New to slic3r and I seem to have most of the settings down. When I print a 50mm x 50mm x 20mm part I get one corner of the part that pulls up off the print bed. I'm not sure if that is a slic3r issue and can change with some setting or if that is some other problem. The part starts out flat and sticks to the print bed nice. once the print gets to and 10mm high that one corner starts to come off tby davidf01 - Slic3r
My sliders were the same way but they work fine. You may find that the carriages are not thick enough so your belts wont line up properly. You will have to pad the carriages out from the slider if this is the case. You should post on the folgertech thread. There is a lot of information in that thread.by davidf01 - Delta Machines

Quoteplrmaker7 Help with calibration - questions: 1. G29 only probes 1 half of bed - is this caused by incorrect z probe offset setting? the distance between my nozzle and zprobe was -37mm. Ok so I'm trying to calibrate my print as best I can while I'm trying to figure out what to do with my warped build bed. I ran a simple 3mm star print so I could measure how accurate the printer is.
