Dear Zedsquared, Thank you for your comment. Yes. as like your mention, this problem is only display problem in long file name. (Not FAT problem in SD file system, Marlin alreay solved FAT problem in large sized SD file system.) However, I couldn't implement long file name scolling on LCD display source in Marlin firmware. Hi Since two years ago, I've used Marilin firmware for my Micro CNC machine. I'm using my machine for CNC and sometimes for 3D Printer as changin tool head to FDM extruder. So Mariln firmware has no problem as CNC controller. Even though it has some limitation as like spindle speed control and coolant control, however, I think, it is useful for DIY Makers as cheapst solution.by jhlee98y - CNC Routers, Mills, and Hybrid RepRapping

안녕하세요. 3D 프린터의 소프트웨어 좀더 정확히는 Firmware는 주로 사용하고자 결정하신 제어보드에 따라 결정됩니다. 다양한 제어 보드가 있지만 현재 국내에서는 Arduino mega2560+ RAMPS 1.4 세트를 사용하는 경향이 제일 많습니다 저 또한 사용중에 있구요. 보드는 중국에 Aliexpress 찾아 보시면 그래픽 LCD 포함한 full set로 그리 비싸지 않은 가격에 나옵니다. 그리고, tantilus라고 해고 구조는 직교좌표형 3D 프린터와 유사하기때문에 기본 setting으로 진행하시면 구동에 문제없을 것으로 보입니다 한가지는 벨트 타입이 아니라 스텝모터 1회전당 움직이는 거리 등에 대한 세팅을 고려하셔야 할겁니다. 더 궁금한 사항이 있으시면 나중에라도 제 메일이나 블로by jhlee98y - Korea RepRap User Group
Hi everyone, I've used 3D printer over 2 years. It's control software is Marlin firmware and Arduino mega2560 + RAMPS 1.4 ( Additionaly external stepper motor drivers). Also It' has graphic LCD from RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller. I would like anyone to solve long file name display on LCD. Hi, A few days ago, I watched this PCB making using Laser printer in youtube. It's very impressive work for making PCB with small laser. For Direct laser irradiation of photo-positivematerial I want to know 1. How they can fouscing of 2 lasers for only one small spot 2. To cozmicray, The laser driver have TTL moudulation pin and I send PWM signal using Arduino ( Marlin firmware with RAMPS 1.4 kit). I've just made new Gcode as like M160 S100 for Laser power control and M161 : Laser power on, M162: Laser power off Also I assigned control pin in adrino. Yes. The blue laser is from Chinese. I also purchesed laser driver. I've just engrave the gray scale image on MDF, wood and colored paper. Actually I didn't acquire the small spot with this Chinese blue laser. So I didn't try to cut some materials. I've just study the focusing of laser and lens. HI Since 3 months ago, I've tried gray image engraving with blue laser 1.5W from China. This blue laser is very powerful and I controlled laser power with laser driver using Arduino (Arduino with RAMPS 1,4).
