Hi, thanks for your answers. I contacted reprap and they replied fast. They are going to send me a replacement board as mine looks faulty. There is a good forum in emaker where it seems more people posts there.by Margomael - Huxley
Hi, I'm going to reply to myself to 3 of my 4 questions. Maybe I can get some help of the one regarding the X axis. 1. No solution yet 2. When talking about positive Y means bed going toward me. This will have an effect of nozzle going towards the back. called positive axis 3. It seems there are 2 versons of Melzi electronics. The one I have is not the one explained in tutorial but someone has pby Margomael - Huxley
Hi, I've experienced the same thing as last 2 pots. I've changed the mosfet to the pin just below the one mentioned on instructions. Seems temperature just keeps rising over the set value. Any solution? Thanksby Margomael - Huxley
Hi, I'm commissioning my Huxley and I have 4 issues so far. 1. X axis controller not working. I say that is the controller because I connected the X axis motor to the Y axis controller and behaves good. I connected Y axis to X controler and nothing happens. Not sure if this info is useful but checking voltage between main 19V and main axis connexions (4 screw connexions for each) is -0.4V in alby Margomael - Huxley
Thanks DeuxVis, I missed that line on wiki. I need to tension a bit more the belt manually so when I lace the grub scrw the nut will not lift as much. Also the grub screw will not rub on the belt as both move together at same speed. Thanks againby Margomael - Huxley
Thinking about it if I use a grub screw then it will clear the threaded bar underneath.by Margomael - Huxley
Thanks that is also my guess but maybe the screw will damage the back of the belt. Also the nut is loose in a recess so if I try to fit a screw will lift from the recees and get out of place. Another possible issue is that this part is quite close to a threaded bar so if a bolt is there, the head of the screw will probably clash into the bar. Thanksby Margomael - Huxley
Hello everyone, I have a question regardong Y axis tensioner. I have the reprap pro huxley model, not the emar one. Can anyone tell me the function of the locking nut on the center of the rectangular plate? Goes inside a little recess. Please see picture. Thanksby Margomael - Huxley
