I had been having problems with heat creep on my Anet, and my DIY Core XY. Both are in my garage and it gets up to 100F in here. I also put an enclosure over each printer to help maintain temps in colder months, and left them on during hotter months also. But I started to get heat creep issues and I could not solve it, so I decided to design water cooled end that used some off the shelf parts. A

I was having huge heat creep problems. My prints would work if I printed very fast and did zero retractions, but this lead to poor quality. I was printing in my garage and temps get up to 100f. The small fan on the cool end was not enough. I then put on a blower style fan and that improved but I still got issues. I could only print when a storm rolled thru and the temp dropped to 75f.

Printing
I was having issues with heat creep on my printer that was in the garage. My filament would bubble at the top of the cold end and then swage and my extruder would grind the filament and my print would just die. I put on a watercooled cool end and all my problem went away
Here is a vid
Thanks

was having huge heat creep issues until I put in my water cooled hot end. I was printing in my garage and the temps were up to 100f, and the hot air was not cooling my cold end. Once I put on the water cooled cool end, all my issues went away.
I posted a video on utube
I am so happy this solved my issue.
