Hello all! I need some help, advice, or someone to tell me I'm a moron. I'm planning on getting a 3D printer and downloaded Slic3r 1.14 to look at the workflow and try to understand how different settings affect the gcode, time, material useage, etc. As such I am using somewhat default settings. I'm incredibly new to this, but I've seen that it is possible to combine two STL files into one print. It may be that you need to split the top and bottom surfaces into a second file, and have that file print in the "skin" material. That top/bottom surface file would have no infill, and you would set the top/bottom surface "horizontal layers" to zero on the main file so that it doesnt print those
