When you have a big file uploaded to the 'models' tab and click 'copy', then 'print' before its done 'uploading' (copying), the job starts, but the status stays 'waiting for print'

finally got some time to work on this issue again.
I found a solution that works for me, but it doesn't really explain the issue.
i ui.cpp there is already part to do the LCD init twice:
#if UI_DISPLAY_TYPE==3

i added a delay at the top of setup(), but it seems it didnt solve it after all. Will try some other things after the weekend

i have a relay-driven heated bed so i try to use the 'bang bang every x seconds' mode. i configured it for 5000 ms period but its not working. the relay still switched on and off very quickly.
any idea whats going on?
i attached the config file i am using.

I just upgraded my azteeg X3 with viki lcd to repetier, and it all works like a charm, except for the LCD at power up. when i turn the power on, the lcd does not init (it keeps showing most-black bars on line 1 and 3. when i press the reset button, the lcd comes to live. Repetier-host seems to reset the firmware when it connects, so then it works too. for repetier-server or standalone use, i need

Had another idea for a new feature: uploading a .hex file which is then uploaded to the arduino controller. No need to get a pc to the printer then to do a software update.

Hi,
I have a 3D printer with a azteeg X3 controller, currently running marlin firmware (will try the repetier firmware over the next week), controlled by a Pi with the repetier Server, which works great.
I have a few feature requests / suggestions:
1) start time for a running job
2) this will allow for a very rough time-remaining estimate, just based on file size
3) a history of rub jobs
