(1) We are not a non-profit, but we're not a big corporation either. We're just two guys at this point who would like to help the community develop, and we'd like to profit one day. As for a preference for one site rather than ten, sure most people don't want to be on two Facebooks or two e-mail providers. And many people might only want to share on Thingiverse.
