Is it well known that diluting PVA-glue with water and painting it on glass makes for a kick-ass printing surface? Instruction: take a bit of PVA-glue (regular Casco "wood-glue") in a glass, add a bit of water (3x PVA amount). Whip around with a paint brush and then paint the glass. Will be tricky to get the watery glue float out, perhaps due to surface tension, I will try to add some detergentby Torkel - Mendel90
Looks like it's solved I lowered the acceleration, as per your recommendation Nophead, and it seams to have solved my issues - three prints now of same size as above image all successful! Thank you for your tips! Other things I checked was the belt tension (which was ok), and I removed the cooling fan and its hood-thing as that has gotten stuck a few times on protruding pieces of extruded plaby Torkel - Mendel90
I have a problem where my prints are destroyed, look: Anybody seen this? Printing from latest Cura sent some error messages in the console, so first I thought that was it. But it happens when printing from SD with pronterface as well... Could it be missed y-axis steps? But that seems unreasonable since when I try to push it under power it is very firm.. Hi, Got my machine working, but now I have a problem that I don't get.. Probably something I overlooked.. Got my machine to print the android model that came as gcode. Installed Cura as that seemed like the easiest software for slicing and printing. Managed to print an owl using that. Then I tried a gear set (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:23030), and now this is what my printer does: Jusby Torkel - Mendel90
