Hi Jaka I have had the same issues with the prints by the looks of the pictures. My fix was to properly align the belt pulley (motor side) so that it always stayed in the middle. Since you have been trying this i don't know if this will help, but i just wanted to put emphasis on it because it is important. Hope it works! Bjarkeby bjarkethomsen - Mendel90
I would actually say that 10% solution might be in the high end. I ended up taking a flint of the glass plate when peeling of a piece, but that was with a 20%-30% solution. I haven't experienced a to weak solution yet. I think i'm down to 6-8%.by bjarkethomsen - Mendel90
I use PVA-based wood glue dissolved in water in a 1/10 solution. Seems to work everytime. It still leaves a shiny bottom.by bjarkethomsen - Mendel90
Hi. I was about to print a new spool holder for my M90. At the end of the print the printer missed allot of steps or jumped allot of tooth's. Is this a software (g-gode), electronical, or mechanical problem? it has happened a few times before. The belt is fairly tight and i would not expect it jumping. Suggestions? FIXED It is up and running, think it was the PC. I connected an arduino uno, and after that i was able to connect to the Melzi. Great!by bjarkethomsen - Mendel90
The USB cable or connector, doesn't seem to be damaged. By connecting i mean both in PronterFace and the Arduino IDE. I use the same setup as before. In the Arduino IDE the Tools-->Serial Port is greyed out, and PronterFace is just writing "Connecting..." I will see if i can get another USB cable, but it seems wierd that it should be broken. Hi After i have moved my Mendel90 to a new place i haven't been able to connect to my printer. The PSU works, and the hotend fan turns at power up, it gets 12V in and there is 5V on the pin nearest the screw terminals. But i can't connect via USB, and the led doesn't turn on. Is my board broken? I can't see why i shouldn't work. Anybody got suggestions? I would be happy not to buy a new Melziby bjarkethomsen - Mendel90
So i got the challenge to print a small conscript. But after 10 tries now, i still can't make it print it. Here are some pics from the last try: This is with a cylinder to help with layer time. It is sliced in Skeinforge, but settings must be way off cause it prints better if i slice in pronterface (an accident). The layerheigt is 0.2 mm, which is the height i wan't to dial it in to.
