I lowered the currents even more and now suddenly I do not get the Crash in Y and it finally Prints the whole boarder. I can also see the belt values closing in on the 200 range. I did some mechanical adjustment to the belt tensions but the values are still under 200. So how low is reasonable to set the currents and does this mean that these stepper motors are more powerful than the LDO’s? Bvon jsvens - General

Hi thank you for your reply. I have a Triangle lab MK3S clone with Blurolls stepper motors. Running the calibration wizard with the Prusa original firmware works fine, but when starting the print it crashes in Y axxis when it starts to lay the boarder. Reading out the belt tension after self check show low numbers which means high belt tension. These values do not change after changing the belvon jsvens - General
Hi, I bought a Prusa MK3S clone from China. The calibration works fine, but when a printout is executed it crashes in the y direction. The belt tension display is also incorrect. My only conclusion must be that the clone uses the "Blurolls" stepper motors which has a need for a higher current setting. Hi, Ich hab ein Prusa MK3S klon aus China gekauft. Die Kalibrierung funktioniert einwandfrei, aber wenn ein Ausdruck ausgeführt wird, stürzt er in y-Richtung ab. Auch die Anzeige der Riemenspannung ist fehlerhaft. Meine einzige Schlussfolgerung muss darin bestehen, dass der Klon die Schrittmotoren "Blurolls" verwendet.
