I have checked the soldered tabs - they are ok. I can measure a connection from the usb cable (PC side) to the Sipex USB control Switch and the Atmel. Do I have to return the Duet board or is there some test I can make first (hope to get it solved to prevent the waiting time for the replacement)?by new-3d - Ormerod
after plugging in the usb cable, the computer does not show a arduino/ormerod com port in the device manager and it is impossible to get a connection to the ormerod (was no problem a few days ago, great prints, system was not changed/touched since then). Tested: with/without power supply, ethernet, pronterface, arduino; I used several usb cables, different usb ports, numerous PC reboots and ormerby new-3d - Ormerod
hope there is some advice Last print 2 days ago worked great. today I started the ormerod again and the hot end stays cold. the resistance at the wiring (cable end at the duet): heater: 3.5Ohm (one brown to one yellow), thermistor 140kOhm; reset or plugin out/in of the cables doesn't help bed temperature is workingby new-3d - Ormerod
for my understanding: when I use Z home and the printer head crashes into bed, I can move Z manual to the corrct position and send the command G92 Z0, the systems accept this as new z homeposition rather the position that come from the z home sequence? thank you helmby new-3d - Ormerod
Does anyone of you know of any database where you can find settings for the different colors and materials? The best would be if its made on the same machine (same mistake of the extruder temp. measurement). Does anyone know of a recommended object for printing tests (filament temp.)? Thank you very much, Helmby new-3d - Ormerod
where can I find a G code list (with explanation)? thank you helm e.g M110 I'm using pronterface "advanced" to upload the config.g. In the uploaded config.g I found M110 as the first code in the config.g (where did it come from?) and the comments "; ..." has been removed during upload.by new-3d - Ormerod
sometimes there is a "slipping/bucking" of the extruder drive during printing (its my first print: ormaxis.g; standard settings). is that usual or is something wrong with the extruder drive? helmby new-3d - Ormerod
I had the same dimensions (themistor with heated heatshrink). I used a sandpaper and grinded the heatshrink all around the thermistor. required some time to get it to 2.15mm (fits now in the 2.05mm hole), but its very accurate.by new-3d - Ormerod
