Quotedc42 The Z motor mount crack is fairly common. There is a beefed-up design to replace it, on Thingiverse AFAIR. Great thanks David. Will look to use that. Was this the one you were thinking of?by Vertikar - Ormerod

Hi All, Have had a look at my printer after a couple of years of not using it and a house move in between, and quite a few of the PLA parts have cracked. I suspect I may have overtightened some of the screws, but am I better off reprinting in ABS or something else to avoid similar problems in the future?by Vertikar - Ormerod

QuoteTreito As the hobbed insert is hardly available I am considering designing an Extruder with a MK8 insert. Looks like you can still get them from reprapltd..by Vertikar - Ormerod

Quotechrishamm Did you mean these? In fact there are multiple ways to enter the bootloader, but until now you always had to connect a USB cable to flash a newer firmware: Those are the ones! But I pulled them from the git link that Erik posted I think. I do like the idea of being able to upgrade via the web interface though.by Vertikar - Ormerod
Quotemarkdoll01 Thank you Chrishamm, Just updated my Ormerod 2 with your new firmware and also the updated Web Interface. All went smooth. Very happy about the new firmware update feature via Web Interface! I always left my controller box open because of firmware updates and finally now after a year I actually screwed the lid on :-) . Hope to not having to open it again, Thank you for contiby Vertikar - Ormerod
RepRapPro seems to have morphed into RepRapLTD and they now have an eMakerShop listing selling off their old stock. Here's the standard nozzle: And here's their storefront:by Vertikar - Ormerod
That ebay link didn't work, said it was removed, I'm assuming it was similar to this one UK-Stock-DC12-24V-Universal-Regulated-Switching-Power-Supply-for-LED-Strip-CCTVby Vertikar - Ormerod
Replikeo still have them in stock also: Try contacting reprappro anyway, I've had a few things go wrong on mine since they closed and they've still responded and helped out.by Vertikar - Ormerod

Hi All, Finally have my Ormerod 2 printing quite well, but unfortunately I got a 528.3 from RS and missed out on all the newer bits. Looking to put on the part cooling fan and duct and wondering if a standard 12V 40mm fan will do? Also is it worthwhile getting one that can output a pulse per revolution on a seperate wire or will my Duet not be able to process this? Any other suggestions about usby Vertikar - Ormerod
