I've had mine installed for a few days now. Went together real well. I had a problem with the threading on one of the supplied screws, but I had a spare from some other project handy, and the slot for the washer wasn't clean cut, but a minute with a needle file fixed that right up. The arm looks real sharp on the printer now, can easily see how much more rigid it is than the old acrylic assembby achaz - Ormerod
I knew what worked on the old RRP thermistor for me, but I don't know how much the indicated temps would have shifted with the new thermistor vs the old. Have only run a single test print with the e3d v6 so far. Time to make some test prints it would seem.by achaz - Ormerod
Very interesting, thanks for digging in to this. As someone who has purchased and installed an e3d with the Semitec 104gt-2 and prints with mostly materials in the 230 -250 range, should i at minimum switch the B value to 4388?by achaz - Ormerod
Yup There are a few threads about this. Contact support (Ian) and they'll take care of you.by achaz - Ormerod
I also use Cura and your firmware and would love to not have my filament unload on pause. Most of the time if I pause a job I'm intending to cancel it too, but its not much fun waiting for it to 'reverse' 3 meters of filament before you can move the head off the melting, fouled up, print.by achaz - Ormerod
Quoteshadow651 Quotedc42 You do need to press the Erase button to upload new firmware. However, it would be possible to add an "Erase firmware and reset" gcode sequence to the existing firmware, which would avoid the need to press the Erase button in future. Well, I'd be all for adding a gcode for that function, if it's not too difficult. I also like this ideaby achaz - Ormerod
It's a bit of a walk and a swim from the US northwest. I would need to ship it but I cant find a way to pick an actual shipping option. (Edit: By 'if she could pick up' I meant 'order for me', sorry for the confusion there)by achaz - Ormerod
Was going to ask my boss if she could pick up the arm upgrade for our office printer, but I can't seem to select a shipping option other than Local Pickup?by achaz - Ormerod
Quotedc42 Try the 1.04g preview, available here . Trying this today, thanks. Will repost if the issue reoccurs for me.by achaz - Ormerod
I started experiencing this same problem today as well. I didn't have a lot of time to play with it so I am also unsure as to the cause. Firmware Version: 1.04c-dc42 (2015-04-02) Web Interface Version: HTML: 1.05, JS: 1.05by achaz - Ormerod
Have you checked your USB cable on another device (such as a phone)? When you plug in your Duet to the USB, does the little red indicator LED on the board come on?by achaz - Ormerod
Quotedroftarts Hi achaz Sorry you've having problems with your bed. See my advice in the other thread here However, we have just started shipping a new bed, with soldered-on tab contacts. We had to make some changes to the board, get them made, and test them, which is why it's taken a while to change over. See the '528.4 onwards' tab, here: These are a direct replacement, though require a neby achaz - Ormerod
Detached the burnt off lead, should have realized the brass screw would have bonded to the solder pad, the whole area easily lifted and spun free of the board leaving a pleasantly acrid crater This leaves me a little unsure as to whether there is enough left to salvage here and re-use the board or if I need to suck it up and get a new one.by achaz - Ormerod
I was a bit skeptical of the way the heatedbed is hooked up on my O2, looks like maybe I had good reason to be (though maybe it was just an issue with the wire and not the connection)... Noticed a distinctly different smell in the office while printing, looked over at the printer and saw this. It appears the bed is still functional, but will need some cleanup. Maybe the wire was damaged insiby achaz - Ormerod
