Quotedavidf01 Does anyone know when or what I use the tensioner bolts in the sliders for? The directions say they will be use later but it never gets to it in the Rev B draft insturctions. Those are for keeping the carriages tight on the aluminum extrusions. Mine were tight to start with, there is no slack or jiggle room when they are riding the extrusions. Might be repeating others here, I ran into this on the last corner after tightening corners one-by-one, and so loosened the previous 2 corners and then was able to hook and gradually tighten all 3. It was still a squeeze, maybe 10 or 20 lbs of leaning on the triangle for the final round of tightening.by leorleor - Reprappers
Saying hi! here. I ordered my kossel 2020 rev b kit on the folgertech site, along with their simple $12 lcd+sd reader. It arrived about 1 week after ordering and I did a quick inventory and it seems complete and undamaged so far (holding my breath until I am done building). I am in mostly the same boat, just got a laser cut mendel kit from http://botmill.com . I've searched the reprap wiki and found most of the pages there I think. The lc-mendel page linked above is fine but seems to gloss over lots (like a single picture for the x-axis assembly) and ends quick (no electronics).
