QuoteDust On aux-1 check from gnd to +5v Still nothing? The mega is probably not producing 5v. Checked and I read 7v there; I wan't to believe that the issue is the regulator too.by LoroParrot - Reprappers
Ok, I managed to get the printer to work. It'll print if I plug via USB, but the LCD won't show anything. When pluged via DC, the LCD works fine, but it starts to fail and restarts the Marlin.by LoroParrot - Reprappers
Checked and nop; still reading 0. For all driversby LoroParrot - Reprappers
I'm getting the Arduino to run via de DC plug (plugged the barrel from the 12v, but it works fine); The ramps has 12v in both inputs. I can't get V lectures from the RAMPS plug to the potentiometerby LoroParrot - Reprappers
Hi, I've disconnected the D1 diode because it was overheating the voltage regulator and i'm feeding the Arduino via the DC input. The thing is, the steppers aren't moving. I've checked the drivers voltage measeures and all of them are throwing 0 volts, twisted the potentiometers but the lecture stills in 0. Any idea?by LoroParrot - Reprappers
Quotedc42 If the printer really did cause the PC shutdown, it's more likely to have been caused by something else, such as a bad ground connection between your PSU negative output terminal and the power input terminal(s) on your printer electronics. well I'been watching and the PSU power wire wasn't grounded, maybe that'll help. The thing is, the PC won't recongize the arduino on the usb port thby LoroParrot - Reprappers
Quotedc42 The lack of sufficient 5V power is a well-known problem, see #1 at . I know I should remove the D1 and feed from outside but; could a fail in the voltage regulator shut down my pc? that's what I'm finding weirdby LoroParrot - Reprappers
Hi, printer was working from PC and suddenly beeps and my computer turned off. Printer stopped working but LCD still on. RAMPS 1.4 has both diodes D1 and D2 but when powered arduino will start but won't send commands unless it has an USB connected. It looks like it lacks power because LCD has bad contrast til I plug the USB in. The LCD is not working very well, to read an SD is a lottery, so I'mby LoroParrot - Reprappers
Quoteo_lampe QuoteTemp issue (i've fixed this one before so, shouldn't be a problem) That made me smile because, if you had fixed it it wouldn't have happened again IMHO you grilled your controller with a shortcut caused by the same issue that was causing the TEMP issue. Be careful with electronics, people have lost their homes by "fixing" things.... Yeah, the first temp issue was because of tby LoroParrot - Reprappers
I've done that and the issue persists :s .by LoroParrot - Reprappers
Ok, everything was working fine. Then a "PRINTER HALTED" Temp issue (i've fixed this one before so, shouldn't be a problem) and when I restarted the printer, the LCD was blank, like this. Plugged the arduino to the PC and runed pronterface; it detects the SD on the LCD, prints from it and everithing works fine. Also, the extruder stepper won't move during printing. The stepper works fine (checby LoroParrot - Reprappers
