All my endstops work but only my Z tower endstop LED lights up when triggered. doesn't really matter to me but is this normal, caused by firmware, or defective LED's? its kinda been bothering me hahahby greggo - Delta Machines
need some settings/machine you printed at... whats your hotend temp?by greggo - Reprappers
a folgertech kossel will get you .1mm detail which is very high quality and you can get it for dirt cheap if you put in the time to do everything right. And yes Delta's are much faster, I don't have a cartesian printer but the only thing limiting my kossel's print speed is the speed of extruding the plastic... it simple has trouble keeping up with the speed of the effector. My guess is roughly 4xby greggo - Reprappers
deltas look cooler and are faster... nuff saidby greggo - Reprappers
Quotejculver09 This sounds very interesting greggo, any chance you could post up a couple pictures. @3D52 I ordered my kit the first week in March. Before I did I asked about pulleys and they said it would come with 36 tooth, and that the change to 20 tooth had not happened yet (I think they are going to deplete their inventory before they change). The correct width is 7mm for these pulleby greggo - Delta Machines
Quotemmcginnis9272 Quoterotten_carrot 1. 20 tooth or the included 36 tooth pulleys? 2. I realise that the build manual has the RAMPS and Arduino boards installed underneath the heated bed but, as has already been tried on this forum, would it be better to position these on top of the frame and away from the heat? Is the heat from the bed problematic enough to extend all of those wires andby greggo - Delta Machines

should i disconnect the servo jumper if i decided to take out the autolevel?by greggo - Delta Machines
hey guys, have an update. My stepper motors go to around 50C so i'm leaving them at that voltage because they still function. My problem was actually due to a USB hub that still used USB1.1 and my shifting problem had to do with commands not being sent over the slow port. Everything is back to normal thankfullyby greggo - Delta Machines
what should i lower the voltage to if theyre at .35?by greggo - Delta Machines
Recently my kit has started to have drifting issues and the only thing I can think of as being the problem is that my stepper motors get hot. A little but hotter than too hot to touch. Is that normal on a delta? I'm set to . 35v, should I lower it or think about cooling them?by greggo - Delta Machines
you will want longer rods, i regret using 230mm rods so I'm going to change them out. I switched to manual bed leveling (just replace three plastic spacers with pairs of washers with a spring between them) and it made calibration MUCH easier. My steppers haven't overheated so i wouldnt worry to much about them overheating and skipping steps but definitely increase extruder motor to .65mv, it willby greggo - Delta Machines
I'm probably gonna go the cherry pi spectra route eventually but my problem doesn't have to do with reach because it literally probes 2/3rds of the plate... Almost to the edge. Could be off center but I doubt itby greggo - Delta Machines
Is anyone else having a problem where the g29 code only autocalibrates a little more than half of the build plate?by greggo - Delta Machines
Quotemmcginnis9272 Quotegreggo so my zprobe is always triggered... no matter if its wired to NO or NC, button pressed or not. any ideas? Make sure your z-probe is connected as in the attached picture. Also, use a multi-meter in continuity or ohm mode and read the switch at the connector (not attached to the board) and make sure it is working. Let us know the results... a frayed piece of coppeby greggo - Delta Machines

QuoteMakerFront Quoteputnam777 Apologies for the double-post... I haven't gotten the autolevel to work with Marlin FW at all. When I was using the Repetier FW, it worked fine, yet it didn't print nearly as well as the Marlin FW does. When I enter the G29 code, the steppers go nuts and the head swings wildly. It clearly isn't working properly... I've changed the grid size from 20 to 0 in the confby greggo - Delta Machines
