Alittle loss here. I think I am on the last step of getting my printer to work (been busy with work so couldnt touch it) I have the sensor package. I havent leveled the bed yet with it. I mean, when I level the bed, do I need to set any offsets? How do I know what they are? Wish there was a more simplified step by step for the whole thing. And maybe I am just flustered too.by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
Ok, resolved the thermostat issue. Is there a way to know if the auto level sensor is working? Things I have not done. 1) Leveled the bed, provided Migibot software seems to never connect to printer 2)printed anything I am willing to use the SD card function once its ready to start. I am printing more then just ABS and PLA, hope that wont be a issue.by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
So in Simplyfy3D, I can get the printer to home X Y but not Z (I have the Sensor). I tried to print, but nothing really happens. So far that is where I am stuck and frustrated My printer is connected to COM3 and 25000 Baud rate ALSO it says my temperature is 357 degrees, however, its not, its not even ON!by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
QuotegatorNic QuoteIronsights Good to know Gator. With that setting in there, like the screenshot I attached. If I set that, does it home to 0? Just curious how that functions or works. I am currently at work, so cant do a live test but just wanted to get a sense of the behavior I should expect. depends on your firmware. I would just try printing something when you are ready. If its offcenterby Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants

See attached, that is the screenshot of some code I seem to need to put in the gcode. However I am not sure how to make this work with Simplfy3D.by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
QuotegatorNic QuoteIronsights 1. Without the Z stopper, how does that Axis home? Did I skip over instructions? 1.The Z stopper and the leveling sensor do the same thing, it plugs into the same port on the board. So you use either the mechanical end stop OR the auto-leveling sensor. 2. The sensor that came with the kit is pretty basic. There was no calibration with it. If you have an adjustby Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
So a update! Motors are working, only way to get them to work was homing them (I have the leveling sensor). Here is my concerns 1. Without the Z stopper, how does that Axis home? Did I skip over instructions? 2. Any calibration needed for the sensor? Also if it helps, I am using Simplyfy3D and preferred to continue using it. Any help would be awesome!by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotegwc2795 Yes they have to be unzipped Installed, no problems! Woot. Only thing I am left scared about getting to work, is this auto level sensor. I didnt get get a Z axis switch, so I am stuck with itby Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
When I try to install them, the provided ones, it instantly tells me they cannot be installed. I will try your provided link and reply back with results. I need to unzip the drivers I download?by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
Ugh, I am back again, and hopefully for one of the last times. I am trying to install the drivers for a FT232R USB UART, and it seems I cannot manually install the drivers. Anyone have instructions to point me to for this, step by step preferred.by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotedburas QuoteIronsights QuoteCrackinX this is the power supply i replaced the crap one with. Works well. Does anybody happen to have any insight on my issue with the proximity sensor? I have double, triple and even quadruple checked everything and it all seems to be right, yet will not work. The picture of that PSU shows 115V, assuming I should not get it? That PSU will work perfect forby Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants

I havent metered it yet, but highly suspicious of it. I will see about getting around to it this week to test it.by Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotedburas QuoteIronsights I also bought the Electron Prusa i3 Sixth Gen, I am currently assembling it and the LCD screen ONLY turns on, when plugged into my computer via USB. Any insight would be nice. Also if there a website I can go and get replacement parts, rather then deal with these people, I would appreciate it. Sounds like your not getting 12 volts from the power supply. Maybe wire isby Ironsights - Prusa i3 and variants
