The tiepie tp5008 osciloscope shows the PWM frequency of the marlin 2.1.2 hotbed is about 7 Hertz. Nicely long, which gives the arduino inputs a better change to do enough readings per PWM period.by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
This link says: "....the PWM frequency is 7.689 Hz" https://marlinfw.org/docs/configuration/configuration.html I think a arduino input can be read much faster. Windchime.by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
Hi.. What is the frequency of the PWM signal for tjhe extruder and hot bed ? I had some THERMAL RUNAWAY's. Marlin stopped it. No fire :-) Thank you Marlin Makers. Now i want to keep an eye on the PWM signal of the extruder by connecting the extruder wires to an arduino. Before and after the connector. Via a optocoupler. Not electrically connected. And measure the temperature of the extruder.by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
[email protected] It's definitely been done successfully. That's good news :-) Quote If you're willing to wait for 6-8 weeks you can get similar kits from Aliexpress. Here's a kit with steppers for $35. Oops.. I allready ordered a set for about 100 euro at www.123-3d.nl... Thanks very much for the info on how to install marlin.. I am more hopeful now :-) Windchime..by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
Hi.. The goal is to change a ANET A6 to : MARLIN ARDUINO MEGA 2560 RAMPS 1.4 DRV8825 LCD 12864 And keep : 12 VOLT POWER SUPPLY THERMISTOR EXTRUDER THERMISTOR HOTBED STEPPERMOTORS BLTOUCH Has this been done successfully ? Does the way presented in this video work well for this ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_AA72g_uXg Thanks... Windchime...by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
Hi.. Which marlin to use ? The marlin from the website ? https://marlinfw.org/meta/download/ Or the marlin from the github ? https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin diff -r .... .... Shows a lot of difference. Thanks.. Windchime..by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks.. I placed the beep gcode in cura -> Settings -> Printer -> Manage Printers -> Machine Settings -> Start Gcode and End Gcode at the end. On a ANET A6 with the original firmware, no updated marlin or any thing else. The M300 S hertz P milliseconds lets you choose the frequency. At the moment i have this as experiment, to try to find the loudest volume of the beeps : M30by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
Hi Folks. Does marlin BEEP BEEP ( make a sound) to let you know when the 3d print is ready ? Thanks..by windchime - Firmware - Marlin
