Solution: Due to board pin used, I needed to comment out //#define Z_MIN_PROBE_USES_Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_PIN and uncomment #define USE_PROBE_FOR_Z_HOMING I had watched several videos and the second didn't seem to be in the ones I watched. Hope this helps someone.by SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
I am doing a new build after putting a SKR 2.0 board in my tevo tornado. I am using a genuine Bltouch and Marlin 2.0.9. I am able to move in every direction including Z up and down. However, when I do an auto home, I have a successful home of x and y but z goes up for the Bltouch offset, and then does not come down to probe the bed. The probe will deploy, retract, and then do a long deploy. Thisby SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
I have tried a new heater cartrage and new thermistor. At this point I am thinking about trying a pt100 temp sensor or a new main board. However, I still feel it may be firmware related.by SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
After installing a genuine e3d v6 Gold on my printer I am having temperature instability. I change the thermistor to 5 in the firmware, and have run PID tuning. It is so bad that it will occasionally not stabilize and even start printing. I have tried a new thermistor, It does it even if I am not printing, or not moving. I re-crimped the wires with the correct size connector to make sure that wasby SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
Problem fixed. Beautiful prints. Thank you very much for the help!by SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
That reproduced the probablem. I decreased the speed to 1000 and it does it just fine. So when it tries to hit that speed it disables the motor. So would I fix that in firmware or in a slicer setting?by SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
I attached the G-Code that I created. I analized it and it looks ok. However when I try to print it the second square prints around 15mm with the z-axis disabled. I do not see any issues with the G-Code that is obvious.by SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
I am open to any ideas. If I need to post in a different area, please let me know as well. Thanksby SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
I have an issue after changing the lead screw. It prints great until it comes to the second part. The first part it prints well (set up in cura as one at a time). However, when the second part prints, the printer sets itself to the 0.2mm layer height but does not move down (sits at around 10mm above build surface). It prints in the air. The z axis also disables. While painting I can turn the leadby SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
Are there any other good pins?by SigLeader - Firmware - Marlin
I am new to this forum. So please forgive my inexperience. I would like my case fan to be attached to the location marked in yellow. It is a 12/24v spot. I am up for other locations as well. However. I would like to have the fans turn on when the stepper motors turn on, and then turn off after 120 seconds of inactivity. My new drivers get hot and I want to make sure they are well cooled.
