Hello, Unfortunately, PEEK is very expensive at almost $30.00 per foot. Once s/h is added, it would cost me around $38.00 to get one foot of PEEK. So, in order to cover my costs and machine time, I figure that I would need a minimum order of 8 barrels. If there are 6 others interested, I'll order the stock and make up a batch. The cost for a PEEK thermal barrier and nozzle would be $19.50.by reifsnyderb - General
Hello, I checked my "inventory", this evening, and I have 6 kits left. I am going to wait until I see if there is any interest in using PEEK as the thermal barrier before placing an order for more PTFE and brass rod stock. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I'll check my inventory tonight and provide an update on how many I have available. If there is enough interest, I'll make another batch. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I have a machine shop and would be running the parts myself. I could have the parts ready for shipping in less than a week (possibly as little as 3 days), depending upon the quantity ordered. How many PEEK thermal barriers are you interested in? If you require the heater barrels and nozzles I can supply them, as well. Also, if you want any machined parts to your own, custom, speciby reifsnyderb - General
Hello, If there is enough interest, I am willing to make a run of PEEK thermal barriers for the extruder. I would have to charge about $12.00 each, plus shipping ($1.50), for them. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - General
Hello, Nine parts kits, for everyone who paid me yesterday, have been mailed. I have 10 more parts kits left. Five more parts kits may be available as I have not heard from the person who requested them in a while. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I have just e-mailed or PM'd everyone who has expressed interest in purchasing these kits. Assuming that everyone who expressed interest purchases a kit, there are now only 4 left. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I just e-mailed you the payment instructions. The parts supplied are 2 of the 3 parts listed under the heading "Non-rapid-prototyped" mechanical parts on this page: The parts are the "thermal barrier" and the "heated brass barrel." I did not make the copper jacket as that can be made quite easily with a hacksaw and a file. Regards, Brian Dan Devine Wrote: -----------------------by reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I have a total of 24 kits created and will start contacting people today. I should be able to start shipping them out tomorrow. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I am planning on making some of the nozzles this evening. I'll start contacting people in the order that they requested parts once I have some of them finished. Thus far, it appears that 18 kits are spoken for. I should be able to make at least 25 barrel/nozzles with the stock that I have available. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I made 28 PTFE insulators last evening. The heater/nozzles are next. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I have received the raw materials yesterday and will start making parts tomorrow. Once the parts are made, I'll contact everyone, individually, to arrange payment and shipping. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale

Hello, This morning, I have ordered enough material for 25 kits. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I am now planning to make a batch of 25 kits. Is there a preference for PEEK over PTFE? If so, I can make the kits out of PEEK, however, the price of a kit will be $18.50 with PEEK. I will be ordering materials on Thursday. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I believe I have enough interest for 9 kits. If there is one more person, who expresses interest in a parts kit, I will make a batch of 15 parts kits. After those 15 kits are gone, I will only make more if there is enough interest to make another batch of kits. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I may be making extruder 2.0 kits, if I have enough interest for 10 kits. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, If there is enough interest, I am willing to make a parts kit for the version 2.0 of the thermoplastic extruder. I will price the parts as follows: $4.90 PTFE insulator $6.00 Brass barrel/nozzle combination with a 0.5mm orifice $1.50 shipping/handling to anywhere in the Continental US or Canada $5.00 shipping/handling to other international locations The total cost of a kit, withby reifsnyderb - For Sale

Hello, Last year, I made the machined parts. If there is enough interest, I will be willing to do so again. It appears that the only parts required, for the extruder 2.0 version are the heater barrel/nozzle combination and the PTFE? Also, if there is enough interest, I could make the plastic extruder parts. However, this would require some research, on my part, and possibly the aquisition orby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, I could make a custom nozzle, however, it would cost extra as it would be a "one-off" part. However, if you would like several, the cost per part would come down significantly as most of the time making parts is consumed setting up the machine. How many are you interested in? Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, Sorry about the late reply. I still have some extruder parts kits and, if there is enough interest, can make as many as required. The parts kit, that is available, is for the direct-drive version of the extruder 1.1 (http://reprap.org/bin/view/Main/RepRapOneDarwinThermoplastExtruder). However, I can make parts for the newer version, if there is interest. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale

Hello, It looks like the PTFE, heater barrel, and nozzle are the compatible. The only difference, that I noticed, is that the Ponoko assembly instructions show and acorn nut nozzle where I supply a machined nozzle. Either nozzle should work fine. Regards, Brianby reifsnyderb - For Sale
Hello, A question came up as to whether this offer is still valid. This offer is valid and will be for some time. I still have lots of parts and I am making more as I need them. For example, because I was almost out of nozzles I ran off 30 of them today. (Don't be too critical about the placement of the "players" as I don't know much about football. ) My next run of parts will be 1/2by reifsnyderb - For Sale
I'll second what Larry said. Drill presses are not made for this. They neither have the bearings nor is the chuck attached in a way that supports their use as a lathe. Keep in mind that a lathe is a dangerous machine and provides many opportunities for being hurt or even killed. Substituting a drill press, for a lathe, only increases your risk. I really doubt that using a hand drill is mby reifsnyderb - General
