Hi Traumflug!

Great work you did on the Gen7! Nice documentation too! I am at the moment working on building a RepRap with some friends using your new electronic design.

Browsing through this page I realized that there's probably a small mistake in the Pinout of the AVR ATmega. As far as I understand, the endstops are switches (or opto-sensors) and so they should be digital inputs to the microcontroller, no? So if that's true, then I guess pins PB0, PB1 and PB2 should be inputs not outputs. Maybe you want to double-check that.

Keep up the good work! I like the modular design. If I find the time, I might start working on a shield for a second extruder or I might try to design a through-hole one-sided Pololu-compatible plugin replacement, if I can find an adequate DIP-packaged stepper driver/controller.

True. Changed these bits. --Traumflug 11:19, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Derivitive

Hi

I know its contrary to Open Source, but for most Hobbyists Eagle is easier to use.

I have started to re-layout your v1.4 board as a Eagle board, in the process shriking it enough to fit underneath the printbed, mounted to the threaded rods, on a Printrbot. This should save some cost...

Can I make a derivitive (new page) and link it from yours?
