My name is Derek Dearden,and I've been writing software and designing electronic devices since 1970.

Most of that time I've been running businesses of my own, and for the last ten years or so, I've been supporting other business owners with their marketing - especially in using the Internet effectively.

I'm really excited by the potential of 3D printing, especially in its Open Source manifestations.

I'm helping my son, Leo Dearden, with his business selling Reprap Kits, parts and supplies.
