makergear feedback plz

hi, i was thinking of buying a prusa from them.
would i get the kit in a timely manner or at all?
would all parts and instructions be present?
are the parts like the smooth rods actually stainless?

i like how they have some videos on you tube
this will be my first 3dprinter. i am a little nervous about it.

I got a bad batch of plastic from Makergear, I sent Rick pics of the bad plastic as requested in IRC and they didn't even reply. In my books I call that a ~$50 lesson.

If you want a kit with easy to follow instructions go with a Makerbot TOM.

If you build a Reprap, you should build one based on the latest Prusa design, there are more users and more builders.

CdnReprap was using the plastic in a Dimension printer. We do not sell/support filament for Dimension printers.

Skid marks on the fillament and debris IN the plastic has nothing to do with the machine.

That is not what you were saying a year ago when you purchased (Dec. 2010) the plastic. You seemed quite pleased with it when you posted on IRC:

Your right. yep, I bought more than one spool.

I've bought a number of things from makergear over the past year or so (and just dropped another 253usd order in late last night).

I have no hesitation in recommending them. Shipping has always been fast and tasty.
