Installing Sprinter on RAMPS 1.4

I'm having a bit of difficulty installing Sprinter on my newly set up RAMPS 1.4. I must be making this more difficult than it needs to be. I'm hung up on the editing/running of the Makefile. I'm using a windows computer and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Is there a specific program I should be using? Thanks.

Download the compressed sprinter file from github.
Extract into a directory.
Open configuration.h
Change the motherboard to 33, save and close.
Open Arduino (I use 0.23), File -> Open select sprinter.pde from the folder you extracted.
Check the Board is set to your Arduino board and the com port is correct.
Press compile
If it compiles without any errors press upload.

Job done.

Yeah, you're right. I'm an idiot. I didn't realize the makefile was to compile the software to use instead of the arduino enviornment. I got it to work. Thanks for the quick reply.
