I noticed that the guys at Mixshop.com have a new 3D printer and extruder named Mist. Not sure if this one is open source or not.

Looks like a printrbot clone, even uses some of the parts.

Not really a good name for a printer in Germany...

Looks like they've renamed it the Mix G1, and at least credit the Printrbot now. The extruder design is interesting. It would be nice if they released the design, seeing as they have used open source parts on it. It looks like this might happen, according to this page [store.mixshop.com]

Saw it printing at the last Toronto meetup and the z axis, and x axis by extension, look very wobbly. Not good for high speed printing in my experience.

Hey aplavins, is there a Toronto 3D printing meetup once in a while? I'm interested in coming if there is.

In german gift means poison. :-)

my extruder has now arrived, there is an error in it, i have emailed them.
