How to control extruder head to move in 3D printer space

I would like to modify 3D Printer to use for other purposes such as holding camera to take a photo of the workpiece in a specific position / angle.

Does it have any software that can communicate to Reprap printer to move the end effector to specific point in space. ?

You can use the jog function built into host software, or put jog commands in the form of gcode onto an SD card and use it to move the camera around.

I 'm looking for a software that can generate gcode along the control point of a spline in a space.
So, we can program tooth path movement and camera angle a head of time and do 360 angle view.
