Thread width for .1mm prints

Is there a rule of thumb regarding the best thread width for .1mm prints? I usually use 1.4 for .3mm layers which gives me .42mm threads, but the same ratio gives me .14mm theads for .1mm layers which is too thin to stick to. Aside from layer adhesion, does the thread width have any noticeable effect on the quality of the surface?

I've been using .2 for .1mm prints, nophead uses a constant W/T of 1.5, but I think it has to increase for lower layer heights.
I still have issues with the extrudate breaking on solid infill over the top of sparse infill, I think the issue is not enough cooling, and the previous line being dragged by the print head as it moves.

Yes W needs to not be much lower than the nozzle diameter so as T gets small W/T has to increase.
