print pauses after base layers

Hi I finaly got my printer working after almost 2 years of fighting with it os problems electronics problems firmware problems.
well thats all over and I tried my first proper print last night the humble shot glass. The base of the glass whent down nicely albeit with a bit of warping ( a heated bed should fix that) but before it carryed on with the sides of the glass the printer stoped and waited for 8 minuits before carying on normaly this caused a big blob from the extruder oozing and the nozel malting the already layed down plastic any idea what seting i can change to stop this?

im runing a techzone mendel with 3mm abs slising with skeinforge and repsnapper as my host.

congratulations, you are on your way! can you post your gcode, someone here will help you I'm sure.

attached plz find the gcode im hoping its a seting somware in skeinforge but to be honest im not sure what half thoes setings do

Have a read of this page and see if you learn anything useful about M101 and M103 codes.

If not, maybe try a simpler program for generating gcode, such as Slic3r.
