Home positions - did I get it wrong?

Hi,

After reading some posts, thought of checking with my learned friends if my home position is wrong.

There is cut in my print plate. I guess this for positioning the home and extruding the PLA before starting the print.

Could you please let me know

Hello,

I think that there is no problem where you put the home position, but you have to adjust your firmware so the machine knows where to search for it.

Home can be anywhere, however, if you expect home to be 0,0 then it either needs to be bottom left or top right of the print bed, otherwise you'll end up with mirrored prints.

Thanks guys, I have now corrected the position. My X carriage was wrongly assembled. I have reversed X carriage and now its in bottom left corner.
