It seems that I have a problem. when im printing the platform, the extruder starts in the center of the bed and then prints to the back of the Y axel, which make the platform only printing half.

did you make the file in the center when you drawed it or outside the center?

or can I change where the extruder will print the object so it will print a full scale platform in the center of the bed?

best regards

Or could the problem be the graph picture? If somebody could take a look, I would be so thankfully!! smiling smiley

The skirt adds to the dimension of the print. It's OK.

Everything else looks fine.

Look at your settings in slic3r. Is your printer tab set up properly? Especially the size of the print bed. If the print isn't centered on the bed that is where I'd look first.

I assume your machine has been calibrated.

Thank you akhlut smiling smiley

as you can see is my bedsize sat up to 140 mm * 100 mm * 100 mm

and center size 70 mm * 50 mm

I cant really not figure out why it prints out to the edge of the bed and by then only print a half sized platform.. see the attached picture off my printer.

The center of origin when I made the part is the geometric center of the part. (Best Modeling Practices)

What's your print center set to?

http://brazenartifice.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/slic3rs-filament-settings.jpg

NOTE your picture of the graph from Pronter Face.

Each little square is 10mm x 10mm. (You can tell because the part is 7 squares long and 5 square wide)

So you have placed the part outside the limits of your printer of 140mm x 100mm

thanks tripple times ShadowRam

I hope it wasn't me who did it, because if so I dont know what I have done.. but what can I do to make the slicer file be in the leftcorner instead of 7 squares away from the left corner?

Best regards

That I'm trying to figure out myself.

I'm at work at the moment, and I don't know the answer to that. Sorry sad smiley

It has to be at the point where you put the STL file into Slic3r to make the Gcode.
