Slic3r question
July 12, 2013 04:25PM
Hello,
I am printing just solid disk with some holes, but slic3r adds an initial layer, like a support. I dont know what i did to slice3r because this is the first time i see this on my prints. Does any body knows how print wthout this unnecessary support. Please refer to the image

Best Regards,

Emmanuel

the object isn't sitting on the xy plane totally flat or you've got somthing sticking out the bottom

It looks very much like a raft, I don't know what else it can be sorry. And I can't imagine this is a software error. Please look at all the different options, it's easy to overlook something smiling smiley

I know it's been said but that really looks like the part is not flat on the axis and it's support.

You could upload the ini file for slic3r and the stl file.
