Hello.

I'm using DRV8825 on my Z axis with sanguinololu.
And motor turns choppy and noise.

What's wrong ? How to fix it?

May be DRV8825 not compatible with Sanguinololu controller ?

isn't there also a sleep pin that needs to be pulled high?

It's new version md20b with resistor.

There are generally anyone have any good experience with these drivers?

Try full-step. What Z-screws are you using?

just watched the video. it looks looks like your motors are not correctly wired. switch a with -a. this should invert one of the coils. make a to -a and -a to a. just swap the wires.

otherwise you have bad motors, or need to make sure that a -a are 1 coil and b -b are the other coil.

Tried to invert the coil ... But nothing helped. Still turns choppy with a screech.

All four drivers DRV8825 work that way. =(

Problem solved with set firmware to Marlin. Previous was sprinter. And maybe the problem was in the parameter MAX_STEP_FREQUENCY.
In Marlin is 40000, but in Sprinter is 30000...
