openscad dxf import

again i am going crazy on dxf extrusions in openscad. i have two different dxf files which i'm trying to import, one of them (sekunden.dxf) works fine, the other one (neu.dxf) just does not show, and also there is no error.
i tried converting things back and forth with inkscape, pstoedit and so on but to no avail.
also reversed the path direction in inkscape but this also did not work.
does anyone have an idea what's the difference between the two files ?
any idea appreciated

Hi,

I don't use OpenSCAD so I wouldn't know, but I opened neu.dxf in LibreCAD and FreeCAD without trouble. Although it cannot generate an extruded solid because the profile is not closed (see attached picture).

LibreCAD or any other CAD software would be more suited to edit DXF than Inkscape.

Try this DXF, I closed its profile in LibreCAD.
