My Merlin has this curious problem where molten filament oozes out from between the passive cooling part and the heaterblock. No matter how tight I screw it, it just seems to find its way out. Any ideas how to fix that?

The reports i got on this all pointed towards the brass part not being screwed in tight enough.

It is important that a bit of the brass part is still visible after you tightened it in the PEEK part. If it is pushed against the aluminium heating block, something is wrong.

This is shown with a picture under "Assembly" in the Merlin wiki article.
