Very cool, but I think it's a dupe, if it is the Bruce Sterling story set in Eastern Euroslavia.

I should re-read it, actually.



For a good RepRap book, try Walter Jon Williams's "Aristoi". I shant spoil any details here. I will say that they need to be more careful with their technology in that book.

It is a sort of a duplicate. A pointer to Bruce Sterling's "The Kiosk" was posted two years ago (by SebastienBailard):

This version is an AUDIO podcast with a reading by Peter Cavell. It starts at 10:30 into the podcast.

While looking for the text of this story I found a mention of a similar story by Cory Doctorow titled "Printcrime". You can read that one on his blog here:
