Pins location for Print Fan on a ramps 1.4 board that has dual extruder

Hi All,

I'm upgrading my newly built corexy printer from single extruder to dual extruders.
Already got a heated bed, so D8,D9,D10 will all be used up.

Looking up the internet, I see that there is a module called RDD fan extender for ramps board,
but it will use up all the pins in the servo pins (D11,D6,D5,D4)

BUT ah......I have a servo on D11 for the auto bed levelling Z Endstop.

Has anyone got any idea for an alternative print fan pin location.

What I would do is change the pins for the Servo, because thats only changing D11.

The Fan Extender is a nice product, I have it and I run my 2 fans with it that cool the stepper drivers, and besides that I also cool the PEEK part of my hotend with it

You know if course that the ramps cannot natively support 2 extruders and a fan. Having a pin to use for the fan is necessary of course, but that pin cannot power the fan directly. You'll need a a small MOSFET circuit. There are several on thingiverse

Plug in a fan contoller into D4, D5, D6 (all availabe with the SERVO headers), D44 (AUX-2 header) or D45 (row along right of board). They are all PWM pins that are usually available.
