Tricolour Mendel commissioning with pronterface

Hello everyone!

I just finished setting the hardware part of my RepRap tricolour and have some difficulties in the commissioning stage.
The instructions tell me to use pronterface to check my thermistors's temperature (via "Get Temp") that they are "room temperature".
Can someone explain the message I get?

The message gives me the temperatures in the format of T0:xxx/xxx T1: xxx/xxx T2: xxx/xxx B: xxx/xxx which I understand they indicate the three extruder thermistors and the bed thermistor, but what is the slash?
Also, I checked with a multimeter and the connections seem to be fine, but the temperature for T0 is exceptionally high (around 143 degrees C)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

edit: I forgot to mention that I am on Windows 7 and I used the precompiled version of pronterface.

double and triple check the wiring.

usually slash is a separator for current temp vs/ set temp.
