Hi, everyone. I was thinking about building myself a drive mechanism for filament spools to reduce the tension that the is in the filament when the extruder pulls for more filament. Possibly some sort of spring loaded friction drive wheel on the rim of spool to account for the different sizes of spools. I wanted to check here to see if anyone had already implemented this idea on their machine. Maybe you could share some ideas if you have.
