Cable chain mounts for Greg's extruder?
June 07, 2015 06:13PM
Hi folks,

I have some variant of the Greg's extruder, (I think it's the Greg's accessible extruder), and I need a cable chain since my extruder wiring bundle is getting caught on the bed. o_O

I can find plenty of cable chains on thingiverse, but how does the chain attach to the extruder? I found this:

but it's for a completely different extruder. There's gotta be some folks out there using a cable chain with a Greg's extruder.

Thanks!!

I designed these to fit my Wades. They mount on the back of the extruder motor. If your motor gets warm(mine does not) you may want to print it out of ABS or PET. There is a male and female version depending on your cable chain.

Sorry for slightly blury images as the printer was printing at the time.

This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!

My x ends look a bit different than yours but I'll see if I can adapt your STLs to fit!

Thanks again!
