I measured it at 390+mm wide by 370mm high...

are you talking about making it 400mm on the inside dimensions? build area versus external?

Its not as easy as just scaling it up...
If I wasnt already slammed with stuff I could do it.

yeah of course you can't scale it... because then the screw holes would scale. some parts don't need to be changed, like motor mounts etc.

But like i said, outside dimensions, it's already that size...

Silly me I should have said I need it to be a 400x400x400 build envelope.

The problem is, DXF is not a cad file. It is similar to a CAM file, which is the output of a cad program.

The cad program, like Solidworks, can establish constraints for example "a hole size is static, but its position is relative to something else (an edge)"

The cad author can easily setup these parameters and resize the overall design without having to worry about the hole's resizing. This is called parametric design.

Without the original cad source file, it is very tedious to go through and resize based on this DXF file. And my attention span has failed me twice on this, so I'm not up to it.

You should contact AndrewBCN who is on this forum, he created the design that is on thingiverse.
