The longest prints prints you ever made?

I'm curious on whether or not people are
Breaking the 24 hour barrier. Myself have not made it past 10 hours. I can't bring myself to walk away from my printer while its running. Does anyone have any spectacular pics of some long printruns they can post. Is it conceivable to do 24+ hours on the usual $300-$500 kits? What type of printer are you using?

I don't do many long prints myself, but I've noticed that on longer prints, the filament spool often becomes an issue. Yesterday my Bowden extruder actually lifted an entire 1kg roll of stuck filament; luckily I untangled it before it started skipping.

Another problem I've run into is USB communication errors, though it's gotten a lot less frequent after switching to Repetier firmware for some reason. I'd think that as long as you print from an SD card and have a good filament spool, you'll be fine for long prints even if your printer isn't top tier.

28 hours, but my printer is pretty slow- 50mm/sec. I can't find the picture of the print- a voronoi type headphone stand- a real retraction torture test.

I print from SD card. Computers are too unreliable.

Hi,

Around 27-30 hours here (dunno exactly),
started on morning, ended on afternoon the day after.
No pics too. Actualy it's my ultimate print.
It's just a round corner cube lamp shade around 180x180x180mm
on a prusa I3, nozzle 0.25mm, layers 0.05mm,
perimeters 45mm/s infill 90mm/s. Nothing fancy.

Honnestly long prints are scary, you can't sleep well.
Because something wrong can happen anytime,
and it will be wasting time and material,
and maybe you need that part ASAP.
BUT, I believe most of prints problems
comes from the model itself,
or from a wrong build plate preparation.
If your printer is well configured and cooled properly,
your motors or drivers won't get warm
whatever the printing time.

8 hours for me on a single print.
Most are less than 4 hours or so a part.

At work however we have a Uprint SE plus and we have had a few 24+ hour prints. longest at work was 32 hours looking at the log.

sheesh i thought 14 hours was longggggg...even worse when it ended as bin fodder lol. 12 doesnt seem to far fetched to me...as it keeps arrizing.

i do have plans for later and i suspect 2-3 day prints...we'll see how that goes later in the day, much later.

56 hours for me. The main body of this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45347

Didn't take the entire spool, but did consume about 3/4 of it.
