When I was doing run-in exercises on my extruder I noticed that the extruded filament as often as not tended to arrange itself in coils when it hit the ground, expecially if the distance between the extruder head and the surface where the coiling could potentially take place wasn't too large.
Now, it appears that there are some define physics controlling the phenomena.
There definitely is something to be learned from this for our project.
Any deposition technique will need to cope with coiling phisics.
As an example, the curvature of a an angle, say 180
