Duel extruder vs single with S3D - Supports?

Okay, so I'm really thinking about getting this: [www.monoprice.com] and just upgrading to duel extruders or getting the one that comes with it. I know there's a knockoff for 400 on eBay, but I here the Monoprice one is the exact same as Flashforge but just a rebranding, so it seems like a great deal.

My question is whether I should just keep the single extruder and get simplify 3d or get a second extruder, and I can't afford both at the moment. Like which one is better for supports? I've owned some very nice 3d printers in the past, but I have had horrible luck with support material. I love printing props like the last thing I tried for over a week was an ironman helmet. I eventually gave up because the support was either impossible to get off some parts and would either break it, or it was so easy, that it messed up the print while trying to print. Any help would be so grea . Thank you.
