I'm new and I'm planning on getting the Prusa i3. What I'm wondering is if there is any place that I can just buy the parts that I can't print?
If not how would I do that?

RepRapPro offered "hardware kits" of everything but the printed parts. They're not offering anything now and I don't know if anyone is still offering anything similar.

You can self-source the BOM but that is likely to be more expensive than even a complete kit due to shipping and minimum order quantities.

SmartRap does that.

I have a bunch of ReprapPro Ormerod kits I'm looking to sell. PM me if you're interested.

You can look for aliexpress for that. I recall seeing a couple of prusa i3 kits with injection molded PC.
