Any alternatives for slicing to SVG?

Slic3r seems to keep crashing whenever I use the slice to SVG function. Does anyone know of any alternative programs that also slice to SVG

I am not familiar with the feature but in most decent CAD programs you can make a sketch from a face. From there it will probably support exporting as a dxf or svg.
