Gday, just wondering if anybody has a good idea on what printer I should get. Since this is my first printer id be looking for one to mess around with. One easy to maintain, and comes at a low cost, thanks

Where do you come from?

If you just want to just print then get a prebuilt machine.
If you want learn, get angry and confused, get a kit.

Do you want a Delta style or a Prusa style?

Start with a mid priced I3 kit, this will teach you all the basics and once its working (take your expectation of how long that will take and multiply it by 2.5) you will have a reasonably capable printer which you can then use to print a more sophisticated printer.

Before any suggestions are made, what is your background with this, and what is your budget? There are much better printers then a prusa i3 out there

from the read before posting:

3. I want to build a RepRap, what are my options?
A short list of popular machine types is at this link. There is a much more extensive list here: RepRap Options. In addition, there are many other types that may or may not be included in these lists, such as Mendel90, Tantilus, Rostock, 3DR, Morgan, and Simpson.
