I was wondering why so many 32bit controllers adapt to smoothieware? Are there so many other forums out there, where it is popular?
Is RRF limited to users in this Forum?

not to mention Azteeg X5 GT and Azteeg X5 mini, granted they are all related to the Azteeg X5. But if you can mention the 3 Duet variants, we can list these variants.

... although I am very pleased with RRF and if it could be ported to smoothieware style boards, I'd use it there too.
Is that possible David? I understand that the goodness of RRF is a tool to sell Duet boards, but how about a paid for port to smoothie-type boards, I'd probably pay for it.

Thank you that does explain a lot. I apologise if I caused offence by suggesting RRF is only a tool to sell Duetwifi boards. I can see the ram constraint being a big problem. Might there be a way to use the sd card as a ramdrive to get around it, or does the lack of high speed transfer just make this imppractical?
