Hi everyone.
I'm a relatively new MakerBot Thing-O-Matic owner (June) that is just about done printing a Prusa Mendel and I hope to start assembling it this weekend. My 'plan' is to use the Prusa with PLA (1.75mm) and the Makerbot with ABS (3mm).
I think I've figured out what I need and just wanted to get confirmation that I'm going down the right path before I place my electronics order.
I live in Vancouver, BC so I've been researching my purchase options for RAMPS given that I'll either have to import it or have it sent to a friend in US ideally in one order from one place to minimize the hassle factor.
I've narrowed it down to two places to order from:

with mechanical endstops, Kliment's SD RAMPS, the heated print bed and some PLA

and adding 3 opto endstops, the heated print bed and the acrylic electronics mount plate
Any thoughts on this approach and purchase plan? I'm open to suggestions for other places as well.
