error initialising comms

I am trying to get the host software to work on a windows machine and using an arduino board.
I have followed all the instructions for installing java and the add ons.

I downloaded the sketch to the arduino board with no problem but when I click on the .bat file to make the host software run it comes up with

Error initiliasing comms:java.lang.Exception
Could not find device at /dev/ttyUSB0.

Check to make sure this is the right path
Check that you have the seria connector plugged in. The programme will continue but your geometry preference has been set to "null Cartesian"for this session.

The USB is on com 3 according to the arduino.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks Andy

Hi Andy,
You need to change the port name in the Edit/preferences menu to COM3, the default is for Linux. Seems to catch everybody out!

Many thanks, that worked.
For anyone else who has as little understanding of java as I do all you need in the box in COM3 in capitals- lower case does not work.
